This series was designed for advanced Master Gardener training, but is also appropriate for home gardeners who are interested in learning to manage plant disease/pest problems effectively, while minimizing adverse effects to health, non-target organisms and the environment. This module serves as an IPM primer, introducing the basic concepts of IPM from a home garden and landscape perspective, along with an overview of the types of tactics used in an IPM strategy.
