Love fresh salads? Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn how to create a container garden full of your favorite cool-season greens that will last into spring. The workshop begins with a short overview about container gardens, then you’ll create your own salad bowl to take home!
Participants will choose from a selection of lettuce varieties, cool-season specialty greens, herbs, and some colorful/edible flowers.
Included: 14” bowl, plants, planting medium, and a care guide for a season of fresh greens.

This is a hands-on, outdoor workshop. We recommend bringing gloves, a smock or apron, comfortable closed-toe shoes for walking and standing, and a hat and sunblock.
